It finally had to happen... Inspired by Jacob Rubber I decided to modify a pair of old Uniroyal hip waders. These waders worked pretty well, but they were damaged and eventually I discarded them. The escapades I made in them (or rather, unescapades!) are shown below:
Unsatisfied with the old waders, I got brand new ones, bought out of excess stock. These were made by Gevavi. The size was way too small to fit my feet but for my arms that didn't matter. These were put to the test at my friend's, and this is the result:
The chest waders were my trusty Elka's, swapped with someone for Vikings, because the latter were way too short and the Elka's were much better. Getting tired of the green I brought a yellow ensemble, consisting of yellow PVC rainwear and my lovely custom made Ocean waders. Again, as a good doggie should, I was put into the doggie cage:
Months passed and a friend and myself went to Denmark to attend a S/M camp (SISC) organised by the Dansk organization SMIL. I had vowed to spend as much time as possible in the Doggie Stylee outfit, and indeed this I could achieve to a pretty good extent. My friend exclaimed at one point: "But you're always doing the same thing!" Which in a way I did, only my experience was different every time and I wanted to explore as many facets as possible. So there I was, in another cage (in the rain), same cage (in the sun), another cage (winched up, and revolving). I had a great time!
And finally, at my friend's place I was allowed to sleep in my outfit. But not before I explored my styroform-foam filled mattress...
During my experiments I discovered a serious security flaw. By moving the straps under my arms over my shoulder I was able to slide out of the boots! This was quickly put right by adding two more straps, one over my chest and the other behing my back as shown below. I also found out that by putting my arms into stiff pipes these can't be bent further hampering my movement. But that, being completely covered in delicious PVC fabric, is just more icing on a wonderful cake!
